I don't have a portable console right now but a friend loved and got a lot of play from Monster Hunter...

i had monster hunter but i was so incredibly bad that i traded it to my friend for field commander...which was repetetive and boring. i think im going with The warriors

Client uses Quark 8.5 and wants files in this format, so I've downloaded the trail version of Quark 9. How do I save this back? I had a poke about and figured file > export > layouts as project > pick version 8. Will this work in 8.5?

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148a Safari/6533.18.5)

I'd like to see one with an Otterbox Commuter. This is what I would be buying most likely if and when I get my white ip4 so it'd be nice to see if it will fit. Emailed their customer service last week but no response yet.

Lookup your candidates in the reliability survey.

Yeah I have. The WD seems decent but noisy. Can't track the Maxtor down though.

    I'll keep looking.

    Thanks

I've had some problems with my Linksys router. It works about 98% of the time. But that 1% really gets to you... its just stops working sometimes for no good reason. Its the only router I've used, so maybe its a problem with routers accross the board.

Basically you are freeing memory you did not malloc/calloc. Your double returnElement within the last loop is requesting space to store a double. This will be on the stack. You are not mallocing or callocing the space for this double (if you did it'd be in the heap). You then memcpy into this space (which is fine: you are allowed to do that). You then free the space that is on the stack. You can't do that. You can't free on the stack. That is automatically done when the current stack frame is popped.

If that doesn't make sense (if you don't know what the heap and stack are for example) it's time to learn basic C properly...

Wow. That many people showed up at Penn?

    Nice.

Too bad the store isn't in Crossroads. All the teenies would have had to wait until tomorrow. :D

Ugh... Guess I'll drive in that way tomorrow. I have some other stuff to do anyway.

Like someone else said, it's likely that it'll only be exclusive's that show a major difference - and in that case, it comes down to not so much what power is there, as to how it's used. Take two exclusive's to the 360 for example. Dead or Alive 4 - goregous graphics, very high detail and not much on screen at once. Dead Rising - realistically prev gen graphics, but done en-mass, using the consoles capabilities to produce hoards and hoards of zombies.

I think that makes sense anyway.

I have seen it mentioned by other folders, but I have no idea where to begin. I imagine it's similar to building a home server, but I have never done that before either.

I'm asking because I have some old 'puter parts lying around doing nothing useful at the moment, that I thought I could build into something that would sit in a quiet corner of the house and fold.

    Any suggestions?

Does around 400-450 for a ~700mhz G3 with Airport sound about right? I'm not looking at a particular auction, but as a general guide.

That's too much for a G3. You might as well get an iBook G4 or even a refurb model from the Apple Store if you're prepared to pay that much. The US refurb store currently has 12" iBook G4 1.2 Ghz with CD-ROM for $699.

Hi, thanks for the responses.about the canon lenses: I use Nikon so my lenses are all black. In terms of throwing the lenses around, well I do go on travel and I do go out in the woods etc. so yes my lenses do see action and they do get small hits here and there. My old sigma 70-200 had some scratches because it fell on the ground. So yes I have seen damage to the lenses in that respect.

In terms of the lens coats, they look like they fit well but I have seen professional photographers using self adhesive tape as a layer of protection. So no glue residue left as you take it off but still that looks even worse than the lens coat :)

I'll have to re-think what I will do....

The update weighs in at 1.93 MB

Did I mention that updates are ones and zeros and have no actual weight. MB refers to the number of ones and zeros in groups of eight. Numbers don't actually weigh anything, so you probably shouldn't write this same trite phrase every time you want to mention how big a file is.

    I'm just saying, that's all.

    Hi all,

I need to scan some photo prints in for archiving, and I'm not real satisfied with my current scanner (Canon) which I've used the past couple years. It seems to have problems picking up subtle color gradients, so the pictures wind up looking overly contrasted. In talking to others, this seems to be an extremely common problem. Anyone know of a solution?

    Thanks!

The same thing is saying for my friend's iPod which is iOS 4.2.1, 3rd gen 32GB, and 26GB disk space left. Both were done on Windows. But did with redsn0w again and it is untethered with the greenpois0n boot logo still present.
